Beginner guide: your first defusal
A run succeeds when the team solves every normal module before the timer expires or the mistake limit is reached. Blind manipulates the bomb, Deaf handles spoken communication, and Mute reads the defusal manual and answers with gestures.

What to know
- Three players in the same BOMBANANA! lobby.
- In-game voice and gestures available.
- Each player understands their assigned sensory role.
Step by step
Read the shared limits
Confirm the time and remaining mistakes on the bomb display before anyone starts an input.
Name the active module
Deaf identifies what is on the bomb and speaks the module name. Mute finds that page in the defusal manual.
Translate the rule
Mute uses gestures to relay the table result. Deaf turns that signal into a short, unambiguous callout.
Make one confirmed input
Blind locates and manipulates the bomb by touch. Confirm the result before moving to the next stage or module.
Keep Chaos modules controlled
Pressure, Slider, and Alarm cannot be completed like normal modules. The official tutorial says they must be managed until the bomb is defused.
Watch for these
- Using external voice chat bypasses the intended role restrictions; the in-game tutorial explicitly tells teams not to use it.
- Braille dots are readable only by Blind.
- A module stage is not the whole bomb—watch both the current stage and total stage indicators.
