Roles and communication
Blind locates and manipulates the bomb by touch, Deaf is responsible for team communication, and Mute holds the instructions and communicates with gestures. The stable loop is describe, look up, signal, call out, act, confirm.

What to know
- Finish the in-game tutorial book.
- Agree on a small set of gesture meanings before the timer starts.
Step by step
Deaf describes
Say the module name, visible light color, stage, and any readable screen state in the same order every time.
Mute looks up
Find the matching manual page and reduce the table result to one action rather than gesturing the whole rule.
Mute signals
Use one gesture for the input and another for confirmation. Avoid introducing new signals during a live stage.
Deaf calls
Repeat the interpreted action in a short phrase so the team shares one current instruction.
Blind acts
Make one input, then stop. Touch is also how Blind reads Braille information that the other roles cannot access.
Everyone confirms
Check stage progress or error feedback before beginning another callout.
Watch for these
- Overlapping callouts create two versions of the current instruction.
- Long explanations waste the manual holder’s advantage.
- Skipping confirmation turns one misunderstood gesture into several mistakes.
